  Carlos Ema

  Spanish musician working internationally with Piano, Electronics, Composition and Improvisation in Contemporary Dance, Flamenco, Experimental Music and Jazz. Pianist for Ballet Class in major dance companies since 2012. Composer and pianist for multiple dance classes at Royal Conservatory of The Hague and Codarts Conservatory. Obtained Jazz Piano degree from Royal Conservatory in 2010.

  David Whitwell

  Born in St. Louis, trained and worked in New York City for 15 years now working internationally across Europe and US. Developed music practice including trombone, countertenor voice and improvisation. Carnegie Hall solo debut in 2017. Works with various composers on experimental tuning systems and comprovitational music. Member of German improv band Elastic Social Structures.

  Donia Jourabchi

  Sound engineer trained at SAE Institute Brussels and CECN Belgium's Center for Contemporary Art and Digital Technologies. Completed electroacoustic composition program at ArtZoyd. Master's research supervised by Raviv Ganchrow at Institute of Sonology. Collaborates globally in field recording, acoustic intervention, performance, improvisation and acousmatic composition exploring spatial sound practices and sonic materiality.

  Dedicated to fostering accessibility for contemporary music with inspiration from theatre, dance, performance and visual art. Harpist by training who expanded repertoire for her instrument and supports emerging composers. Committed to providing resources and platforms for composers transitioning from academia to professional careers.

  Guillermo Martín-Viana

  Visual artist, creative coder, drummer, educator and improviser working across traditional performing arts and interactive new-media technologies. Creates multimedia works based on interactive generative visual systems with audience participation. Released album 'Songs of Rage and Impotence – 1LL0~ Remixes' on Oigovisiones Label.

  Pianist, researcher and sound artist specializing in silence and historical avant-gardes of 20th century from Dadaism to Situationists.

  Jan TV Falkenstein

  Works in computer music, media art and software engineering since late 1990s. Released multiple mobile music apps for iOS including SQRT and fluXpad in collaboration with Mouse on Mars. Contributes to Electronic Frequencies on Concertzender and Radio Tonka. Works as solution architect in Amsterdam.

  Korean composer, performer and sound artist researching relationships between musical and physical spaces using multichannel systems. Active solo performer combining acoustic instruments with analog and digital sound on stage. Teaching at the Institute of Sonology and board member of Game of Life Foundation and New Emergences foundation.

  Johan van Kreij

  Performer and composer of electronic music who graduated from the Institute of Sonology in 1998. Develops custom electronic musical instruments combining hardware sensors with software employing various sound synthesis models. Used in contemporary music, dance and theatre performances. Teaching at the Institute of Sonology since 2001.
